Reeds of Hope is strengthening and empowering women, children and families

of the Democratic Republic of Congo through

family preservation, education, and entrepreneurship.

Reeds of Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the most vulnerable women, children and families in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Originally founded to support orphanages, the organization has evolved to ensure family preservation with additional programs developed to focus on empowering the community as a whole through education, entrepreneurship and Christ-centered mentorship. This shift to a more holistic approach has been transformational. Meaningful in-country partnerships within the Congolese community ensures children are learning, women are leading, and families are lasting. Together we are weaving a brighter future for the next generation.
