Sewing Mamas

The young women we sponsor over at Emmanuel Training center have completed their first capsule! They've acquired basic skills and are already completing garments from patterns they've created. With your support, we were able to sign each of them up for the next three month training capsule where they'll continue to practice their skills and learn new techniques. (Be sure to follow us on Facebook for pictures of all our students!) 

 A friend is traveling to DRC next month and will be taking a small sewing kit for each woman. The kits contain basic tools to help each young woman prepare to launch her own business. We would love to include a small hand written note of encouragement to each woman. If you would like to write a note (it can be short and sweet!) please contact Holly at hdoden at reedsofhope dot org.
